NON-EU CITIZENS RESIDING ABROAD

DO YOU WANT TO APPLY FOR A STUDY PROGRAMS IN ITALY AT OUR UNIVERSITY? FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

 

The procedures to follow are different depending on the course of study you intend to access.

 

To access a DEGREE COURSE, you must:

• enrol by 31 August 2024 on Universitaly Universitaly– Sei uno studente internazionale? 
• register on the Unica website by signing in from the public Homepage, University of UNICA (cineca.it) University of UNICA (cineca.it)Homepage area pubblica, Università di UNICA (cineca.it)
• register and take the admission test. You will find more information in July 2024
• take the Italian language test
• if you pass the Italian language test, you must enrol online by accessing Homepage area pubblica, Università di UNICA (cineca.it)> Login, > Segreteria > Immatricolazioni.
• After enrolment online, you will need to attach in your reserved area area  in esse3 (Career > Attachments path): Declaration of value of the upper secondary school diploma and degree qualification, entry visa and residence permit

 

To access a MASTER’S DEGREE COURSE, follow the procedures described below

MANDATORY PRE-ASSESSMENT

If you want to enrol in a Master’s degree programme, you must undergo a compulsory Pre-Assessment by writing to foreignstudents@unica.it and indicating in the subject line: Access pre-assessment LM _____ A.A. 2024/25 _ followed by your Name and Surname

Please attach the following documents to the email:

• Higher education diploma, translated into Italian or English
• Degree certificate with exams, translated into Italian or English
• English language certification with related level achieved
• if owned, Italian language certifications with their level

 

MANDATORY PRE-ASSESSMENT DEADLINES

The email for the mandatory pre-assessment must be sent:

from 1 March to 15 May 2024

from 20 May to 10 July 2024

Emails sent outside of these deadlines will not be considered.

 

MANDATORY PRE-ASSESSMENT OUTCOME COMMUNICATION

The candidate will be notified of the outcome of the mandatory pre-assessment by email within the terms indicated below

Pre-assessment application from 1 March to 15 May 2024 – Communication of the pre-assessment outcome By 9 June

Pre-assessment application from 20 May to 10 July 2024 – Communication of the pre-assessment outcome By 30 July

 

PRE-ENROLMENT ON UNIVERSITALY AND REGISTRATION ON UNICA

If you have been positively evaluated, you must:

– pre-enrol by 31 August 2024 on Universitaly by uploading in the portal the letter of academic eligibility issued by Unica and the necessary documents such as the higher education diploma translated into Italian or English, the degree certificate with exams translated into Italian or English and the English language certification with related level achieved.

Each document attached must be named in accordance with what type of certificate it is. (For example, the TOR file must be named TOR, the language certification must be named English Certificate liv. B2..).

Applications on Universitaly will not be considered if:

• submitted for the wrong academic year
• not preceded by the positive outcome of the mandatory pre-assessment
• submitted after 31 August 2024

REGISTRATION FOR THE ADMISSION TEST ON UNICA AND THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE TEST AND ENROLMENT IN THE MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMME

After signing in to the Unica website, you have to complete the registration for the admission test, as required by the individual notices and within the deadlines. Please note that if the master’s degree programme includes exams in Italian, you will have to take the Italian language test.

If you pass it, you will be able to enrol on esse3 according to the enrolment procedure.

After the online enrolment, you will need to attach the Declaration of Value related to the higher education diploma and the degree certificate, entry visa and residence permit in your reserved area in esse3, Career > Attachments path.
