Foundation Year certificates will be accepted only if issued by institutions accredited by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) or the relevant Ministry of Education. If the teaching institution differs from the awarding institution, both must be accredited.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note:<\/strong> These certifications are intended solely to meet the required 12 years of schooling and cannot be used for course shortening (credit recognition). All documents related to compensatory years issued by foreign institutions must be submitted in their original form, accompanied by a sworn translation and legalization\/Apostille. Please verify the competent authorities for issuing the Apostille.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Declaration of Value<\/strong>, or alternatively a <strong>Statement of Comparability<\/strong> issued by the Italian ENIC-NARIC centre (CIMEA);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certificate of academic eligibility<\/strong>, if required in the country where the qualification was obtained;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Italian language certificate at B2 level<\/strong>, for programmes taught (even partially) in Italian. If you do not have it, you will be required to take a language test;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Result of the entrance test (TOLC CISIA)<\/strong>, if available.\u00a0Check <a href=\"https:\/\/web.unica.it\/unica\/it\/crs_2_67_72.page\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> which TOLC CISIA is required for your chosen programme;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identity document<\/strong> (ID card or passport).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications <strong>will not be considered<\/strong> if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>submitted for the <strong>wrong academic year<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>submitted <strong>after 31 August 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>****************************************************************<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. VERIFICATION OF REQUIREMENTS BY THE UNIVERSITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After pre-enrolment on Universitaly, the University will verify:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>completion of <strong>at least 12 years of schooling<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Italian language proficiency at B2 level<\/strong> (only if the programme is not entirely taught in English);<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>result of the entrance test (TOLC CISIA)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If all requirements are met \u2192 the University <strong>validates your pre-enrolment without reservation<\/strong> (<em>green light on Universitaly<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li>If requirements are <strong>not fully met<\/strong> \u2192 the University <strong>validates your pre-enrolment with reservation<\/strong> (<em>orange light on Universitaly<\/em>).<br \/>\nThe reservation will be lifted only after you regularise your position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>****************************************************************<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. STUDY VISA APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may apply for a <strong>study visa at the Embassy<\/strong> only if your pre-enrolment on Universitaly has been <strong>validated without reservation (green light)<\/strong> by <strong>30 November 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>****************************************************************<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. ONLINE ENROLMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may proceed with <strong>online enrolment<\/strong> in your chosen programme <strong>ONLY AFTER<\/strong> meeting all the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>final validation without reservation on Universitaly<\/strong> (<em>green light<\/em>);<\/li>\n<li><strong>issuance of the entry visa<\/strong> by the Embassy;<\/li>\n<li>completion and <strong>passing of the required TOLC CISIA test<\/strong> (the type of TOLC depends on the chosen programme; please check which one applies);<\/li>\n<li><strong>passing the Italian language test at B2 level<\/strong>, if you have chosen a programme taught (even partially) in Italian and do not already hold a valid language certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once all requirements are met, you may proceed with online enrolment as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration on UniCA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Register on the University of Cagliari website via the public homepage: <strong>Universit\u00e0 di UNICA (Cineca)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Online enrolment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Complete your <strong>online enrolment<\/strong> by accessing:<br \/>\nPublic homepage \u2192 <strong>Universit\u00e0 di UNICA (Cineca)<\/strong> \u2192 Login \u2192 Student Records \u2192 Enrolments,<br \/>\nby <strong>30 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upload of documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After online enrolment, upload the following documents in your reserved area<br \/>\n(Menu \u2192 Student Records \u2192 Career Attachments):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Declaration of Value of the upper secondary school diploma and any degree qualification;<\/li>\n<li>entry visa;<\/li>\n<li>residence permit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After enrolment, the <strong>Student Office<\/strong> will process your application and forward it to the academic bodies.<br \/>\nYour enrolment will be <strong>finalised and confirmed only after approval by the Academic Senate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Until then, you may <strong>attend classes<\/strong>, but you <strong>will not be allowed to take exams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>****************************************************************<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.
