The enrollment procedures and required documents depend on the chosen degree program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"443\">The information provided on this page refers to students who hold an <strong data-start=\"368\" data-end=\"399\">international qualification<\/strong> suitable for access to university programs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"533\">If you hold an <strong Programs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"892\"><strong data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"737\">Non-EU citizens residing outside Italy<\/strong> must submit a <strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"789\">pre-enrollment application online<\/strong> through the Italian Embassy\/Consulate in their country of residence via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universitaly.it\/index.php\/registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"889\">Universitaly portal<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"981\">The application form (available in Italian and English) is divided into three sections:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1062\">\n<li data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"999\">\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"999\">personal data<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1032\">\n<p data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1032\">Embassy and course selection<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1062\">\n<p data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1062\">educational qualification<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1153\">Please remember to select <strong data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1118\">\u201cUniversity of Cagliari\u201d<\/strong> and only <strong data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1150\">one degree program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1246\">To enter Italy, you must apply for a <strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1245\">study visa (\u201cType D visa for study \u2013 enrollment\u201d)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1251\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1279\"><strong data-start=\"1256\" data-end=\"1279\">Arrival in Cagliari<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1380\">Within <strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1306\">8 working days<\/strong> from your arrival in Cagliari, you must apply for a <strong data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1379\">residence permit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1594\">Students must also have their enrollment documentation <strong data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1459\">verified in person<\/strong> at the Students Office of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, by booking an appointment via email at:<br data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1565\" \/><strong data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1594\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1592\">segrstudmedicina@unica.it<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1599\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1671\"><strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1671\">Information on Required Documentation (for all degree programs)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"1673\" data-end=\"1699\"><strong data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1699\">Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1761\"><strong data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1761\">Bachelor\u2019s Degrees and Single-Cycle Master\u2019s Degrees<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"1836\">You must submit the <strong data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1808\">original paper copies<\/strong> of the following documents:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"2101\"><strong data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1844\">a)<\/strong> Upper secondary school qualification obtained after at least <strong data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"1931\">12 years of schooling<\/strong> (EQF level 4 \/ ISCED level 3), with attendance of at least the last two years within the same foreign education system, translated into Italian or English and legalized;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2103\" data-end=\"2155\">If the total schooling period is less than 12 years:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2318\">\n<li data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2228\">\n<p data-start=\"2158\" data-end=\"2228\">Transcript of Records certifying completion of the missing years, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2265\">\n<p data-start=\"2231\" data-end=\"2265\">post-secondary qualification, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2266\" data-end=\"2318\">\n<p data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2318\">certificate of completion of a Foundation Course<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2391\">All documents must be officially translated into Italian and legalized.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2659\">If the qualification was obtained in a country where access to university requires an <strong data-start=\"2479\" data-end=\"2503\">entrance examination<\/strong> (e.g. <em data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2524\">Selectividad<\/em> in Spain, <em data-start=\"2535\" data-end=\"2547\">Vestibular<\/em> or <em data-start=\"2551\" data-end=\"2557\">ENEM<\/em> in Brazil, <em data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2578\">Gao Kao<\/em> in China, etc.), you must submit a certificate proving that you passed the exam.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2664\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2704\"><strong data-start=\"2666\" data-end=\"2672\">b)<\/strong> One of the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"3014\">\n<li data-start=\"2706\" data-end=\"3014\">\n<p data-start=\"2708\" data-end=\"2899\"><strong data-start=\"2708\" data-end=\"2738\">Declaration of Value (DoV)<\/strong> of the upper secondary school diploma, issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the country where the diploma was obtained.<br data-start=\"2867\" data-end=\"2870\" \/>This document must certify:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"3014\">\n<li data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"2941\">\n<p data-start=\"2904\" data-end=\"2941\">completion of 12 years of schooling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2944\" data-end=\"3014\">\n<p data-start=\"2946\" data-end=\"3014\">that the qualification allows access to university in that country<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3016\" data-end=\"3022\"><strong data-start=\"3016\" data-end=\"3022\">OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3024\" data-end=\"3163\">\n<li data-start=\"3024\" data-end=\"3163\">\n<p data-start=\"3026\" data-end=\"3163\"><strong data-start=\"3026\" data-end=\"3056\">Statement of Comparability<\/strong> of the foreign qualification issued by <strong data-start=\"3096\" data-end=\"3105\">CIMEA<\/strong> (Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3168\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3259\"><strong data-start=\"3170\" data-end=\"3176\">c)<\/strong> Type D study visa \u2013 enrollment<br data-start=\"3207\" data-end=\"3210\" \/>(only for non-EU citizens residing outside Italy)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3342\"><strong data-start=\"3261\" data-end=\"3267\">d)<\/strong> Valid identity document (only for EU citizens or equivalent) or passport<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3344\" data-end=\"3422\"><strong data-start=\"3344\" data-end=\"3350\">e)<\/strong> Residence permit or receipt of application<br data-start=\"3393\" data-end=\"3396\" \/>(only for non-EU citizens)<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3424\" data-end=\"3427\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3429\" data-end=\"3477\"><strong data-start=\"3432\" data-end=\"3477\">Translation and Legalization of Documents<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3479\" data-end=\"3678\">Academic qualifications and certificates must be submitted together with an <strong data-start=\"3555\" data-end=\"3579\">official translation<\/strong>, in accordance with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3680\" data-end=\"3856\">Legalization of documents is required to certify their authenticity and can be obtained from the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the country where the qualification was issued.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3858\" data-end=\"4010\">If the country is a signatory to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcch.net\/en\/instruments\/conventions\/authorities1\/?cid=41\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"3895\" data-end=\"3922\">Hague Convention (1961)<\/strong><\/a>, legalization is replaced by an <strong data-start=\"3955\" data-end=\"3968\">Apostille<\/strong>, issued by the competent local authority.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4012\" data-end=\"4271\">As an alternative to legalization or apostille, it is possible to submit a <strong data-start=\"4087\" data-end=\"4145\">Statement of Verification of the foreign qualification<\/strong> issued by <strong data-start=\"4156\" data-end=\"4165\">CIMEA<\/strong> (paid service), by creating an account on <a href=\"https:\/\/cimea.diplo-me.eu\/padova\/#\/auth\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong data-start=\"4208\" data-end=\"4221\">MyDiplome<\/strong><\/a>. A <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.unipd.it\/media\/My+Diplome+tutorial\/1_3wlmu366\/171471031\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video tutorial<\/a> (in English) is also available.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4273\" data-end=\"4668\">Legalization or Apostille is <strong data-start=\"4302\" data-end=\"4318\">not required<\/strong> if the qualification was obtained in countries that are signatories to specific international agreements:<br data-start=\"4424\" data-end=\"4427\" \/>Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland (Brussels Convention 1987), Germany (Rome Convention 1969), Latvia (for documents issued after 31\/10\/2010), Luxembourg, Netherlands (including Aruba and former Dutch Antilles), Poland, and Portugal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Studying in Italian \u2013 Enrollment After being admitted to the University of Cagliari, you must complete the enrollment process.
